The school community is proud that Sasolburg High School is now known as one of the top semi private self-providing bilingual schools in South Africa.

Our academic accolades, of which a 100 % matric pass rate is but one, are mainly the result of our ability to keep our classes to a ratio of twenty five leaners per teacher. The school utilises innovative teaching methods with the latest technology available to achieve success on provincial and national levels. This might include integrated modules, international examinations, benchmarking and guest teachers. We offer a wide range of subjects. A longer flexible school day with a balanced workload and balance between academic, cultural and sporting activities. We pay for professional coaches to assist when necessary.
Our parents are our partners. They support teachers and children and participate in school events. They have ownership of their children’s development, education and discipline.
Our famous hostel is the hub of the school with state of the art facilities. We provide bursaries for promising learners to encourage them to return as teachers for specialised subjects.
We strive for financial self-sufficiency. We have a registrar with financial and administrative competencies. The registrar is involved with generating finances and in creating bursaries. Our alumni and donors support our school financially.
