Koshuis / Hostel

The Sasolburg High School Hostel opened it’s doors on 13 January 1981.

It is situated about 800m from the school. It has a capacity of 100 learners and there are currently 34 learners housed in the hostel.

Daar is tans 5 onderwysers van die skool woonagtig in die koshuis. Die fasiliteite sluit in ‘n Eetsaal, Studiekamer, Rekenaarkamer, TV, Muurbalbaan, 2 en 4 Bed Slaapkamers ,`n vol Badkamer vir elke gang en Wi-Fi.

Die borg van ‘n leerling aan SHS kan die ideale geskenk vir die skool wees. Hierdie geskenk kan daagliks van waarde vir u Alma Mater wees. In die klaskamers, op die sportveld, verhoog, tydens redenaarskompetisies en orals waardie skool met sy leerders kompeteer.

Quite a number of pupils are already sponsored by certain companies and SHS Legends. All these pupils are contributing positively to the excellent results that the school is presently achieving.

Dit is`n wonderlike voorreg indien ons vandag in die posisie is om `n leerder te borg en om die leerder te sien ontwikkel tot `n pilaar in die samelewing.
The following sponsorship conditions will apply:

The sponsorship will be anonymous. The annual renewal of the sponsorship will be subject to the learner’s achievements and the financial position of the sponsor. The sponsor will receive feedback on the learner’s progress and achievements twice a year. Receipts for tax purposes will be issued for any amount in excess of R1000.00 and because SHS has a 75% black representation for you as corporate company it will count towards your Socio Economic Development.
